On January 8, powerful explosions occurred on the railroad in the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation, damaging a tanker with oil products. It then turned out that the incident was caused by an explosive device.
Several explosives were found in the railroad warehouse. This was reported by Russian media.
After the explosion, the train with the tanks was stopped at the San-Donato station, a few hundred meters from the Gazprom Neft refinery. It is worth noting that the Russian authorities have not yet reported the exact amount of explosives involved. But, according to preliminary data, there were several devices on the train.
One explosive was captured in a photo on a tanker belonging to Gazpromtrans LLC. This legal entity with billions of rubles in authorized capital belongs to Gazprom.
In turn, Kremlin propagandists clarified that the explosion occurred near the San-Donato railway station. They also said that the explosive device was attached to a fuel tanker that had been filled at a nearby oil depot.
Security forces in Nizhny Tagil said that as of January 9, they were still searching for three suspects who may have been involved in the tanker explosion.

Earlier, it was reported that explosions occurred in the Russian city of Belgorod on the evening of January 8. An air raid alert went off in the town. Propagandists claimed that Ukraine had allegedly shelled the city and that air defense systems were "working."
