A "clear hit" on a fuel and lubricant depot in Domodedovo at night

On the night of March 17, unidentified drones attacked the village of Domodedovo on the outskirts of Moscow, where the airport of the same name is located. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin was quick to claim that two drones were allegedly shot down.

However, not all the drones were actually shot down: one of them hit a warehouse where fuel and lubricants are stored. This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Cheka-OGPU.

"As the Cheka-OGPU found out, the target of one UAV during the night attack was the warehouse near Domodedovo, more precisely, sector G, where fuel and lubricants are stored. There was a clear arrival, not a fall of debris. The second UAV flew past the warehouse. The air defense system in Domodedovo did not work on these targets," the publicist claims.

The channel's authors illustrated the message with a photo, which, according to Z-propagandists, shows the consequences of the drone's "falling debris" on the roof of the warehouse.

Overnight, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that "the Defense Ministry's air defense forces in the Domodedovo urban district repelled an attack by two drones flying towards Moscow."

"According to preliminary data, there is no damage or casualties at the site of the crash. Emergency services are working at the scene," the official said.

In the morning, a few hours after the first attack, Sobyanin claimed "another downed UAV" in the Domodedovo urban district.

However, the inconsistency is that eyewitnesses to the nighttime attack counted at least three drones.

Earlier, details of a nighttime UAV attack on the Slaviansk refinery in Russia became known. According to OBOZ.UA sources, it was the result of a joint operation by the Security Service of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces and the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the attack, a massive fire broke out at the enterprise in the area of the atmospheric columns, which were the main target of the strike.
