Kiselyov promises revenge against Berlin for possible missile supplies

Kremlin mouthpiece Dmitry Kiselyov threatened to strike four bridges in Germany in response to a possible missile attack on the Crimean Bridge. Commenting on the wiretapped conversations of Bundeswehr generals about the possible supply of Taurus missiles, the propagandist said that Germany has no "equivalent" to Kerch bridge, so "we will have to pay attention to others."

Kiselyov made the threats on Sunday, March 3, on the Vesti Nedeli program on the Russia 1 propaganda channel. "For all the sophistication of the interlocutors (German generals - Ed.), they do not have images of bridges in Germany in their heads. In this rather small country, there are no bridges as long as the Crimean one. But there is still something to see through the missile sight," he said.

The propagandist added that they would feel "sorry" for the German bridges, but that nothing could be done, because "they don't feel sorry for our Crimean bridge".

Kiselyov then listed four bridges in Germany that Moscow could allegedly strike back at.

According to him, these are the Fermanzund and Rügen bridges in northern Germany, which connect the mainland with the islands of Fehmarn and Rügen, the Hohenzollern railway bridge in Cologne, and the Magdeburg Water Bridge, which connects two canals across the Elbe 150 km from Berlin.

The propagandist threatened that Russia would hit four bridges at once, as there are no bridges of equal length in Germany.

"We will have to pay attention to other bridges in Germany to recoup the damage by the linear meter," Kiselyov said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

– Russian propagandists have outlined the content of an almost 40-minute conversation between German military officers about the possible supply and use of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, which allegedly took place on February 19. The officers discussed, among other things, the possible destruction of the Crimean Bridge, which is "difficult to reach," so it would take "not one or two dozen missiles."

– The German Ministry of Defense promised to thoroughly check the information about the wiretapping of the Air Force representatives.

– Later, the ministry confirmed that the conversation between the officers about the Taurus took place and was intercepted. At the same time, they did not rule out that changes could have been made to the recorded or written version.

– German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Putin is waging an "information war" against Germany. According to him, Russia's "leak" of the conversations of German generals was a "hybrid attack" aimed at "undermining resolve."

– On March 4, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz gave a new reason not to provide Ukraine with Taurus. According to him, the transfer of such weapons requires the participation of the German military. The other day, he said that Germany was not providing Ukraine with Taurus because these missiles could allegedly reach Moscow, and Berlin was not yet ready to send its military to monitor the use of the system.
