Time Out decided to find out where partygoers will definitely not be disappointed. It surveyed thousands of people around the world about their impressions. The list was formed according to two criteria - the intensity of nightlife and its accessibility. And here's the ranking that came out of it.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio was named the best place to party by the majority of survey participants. Its live music, dance halls and bohemian bars are admired by ravers.

Manila, Philippines

The island nation's capital is somewhat logistically challenging. But its undoubted advantages are cheapness, intense club life and still night food markets with tasty street food.

Berlin, Germany

Of European cities, the German capital holds the palm of superiority. Outdoor raves are back here. There are also parties for all tastes.

Guadalajara, Mexico

In terms of nightlife saturation, this Mexican city was in first place. From open-air dancing to tiny jazz bars, it has it all. But you'll have to splurge to get in.

Austin, Texas, USA

The capital of Texas is also called the capital of music. That's why it was ranked the highest among all American cities. Experts especially advise visiting the bustling 6th Street and Congress Avenue.

Lagos, Nigeria

If you like dancing to Afrobeat, you are here. It is from Nigeria that this style of music originates. Party lovers love that there are events here that celebrate the local traditional culture along with ultra-modern parties.

Rotterdam, Netherlands
