The "veteran" who tried to go to the Memorial of Eternal Glory in Kyiv wearing a uniform similar to the Soviet one and with banned symbols is in the database of the "Myrotvorets" project. It is noted that she has repeatedly participated in anti-state actions.
This was reported on social media. There is information that she is involved in anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
Thus, on May 9, a woman and a man in Soviet-like military uniforms tried to get to the Memorial of Eternal Glory. At the same time, their hats bore Soviet symbols – a red star with the coat of arms of the defunct USSR.
Law enforcement officers calmly informed the offenders of their responsibility for displaying the banned symbols. The police informed them that they would be able to pass on one condition – to remove the stars. However, the woman refused to do so – according to her, the uniform belonged to her mother, and the medals were jubilee medals.
According to social media, a woman who looks like Halyna Savchenko took part in the provocation. The database of the "Myrotvorets" project states that she was born between 1949 and 1950 (after World War II), is engaged in anti-Ukrainian propaganda, and participates in anti-state actions.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, a small number of people came to the Memorial of Eternal Glory in Kyiv's Pechersk district on Thursday, May 9, to lay flowers at the Eternal Flame. There were also provocations – a woman and a man in Soviet-like uniforms tried to get to the monument wearing prohibited symbols.
