In Zambia, Africa, a 64-year-old American tourist, Juliana Gle Tourneau, died under the feet of a multi-ton elephant. During the parking lot, the animal attacked the car in which the travelers were sitting and pulled the woman out.

According to the BBC, citing local officials, this is the second such incident in the country this year. Gle Tournot was one of a group of tourists who stopped near the Maramba Bridge in Livingstone because of the movement of a herd of elephants.

According to Southern Province Police Commissioner Auxencio Daca, the woman "was knocked out of a parked car that had stopped due to traffic caused by elephants around the Maramba Cultural Bridge," People writes. The incident took place on Wednesday, June 19, at about 17:50 local time.

It is known that in late March, a similar death of 79-year-old American tourist Gail Mattson occurred. Then, in Kafue National Park, Zambia, an elephant rushed at a truck with travelers and overturned it. The woman died from the actions of the aggressive animal, and five people were injured.

Rona Wells, the daughter of the deceased, said on social media that it was "a tragic accident during her dream trip." The video of that terrible event went viral.

The video shows the elephant walking through the forest, but when it notices a car, it starts running towards it. Then the vehicle stops because of the blocked path, and the animal turns it over twice.
