Annamarija Kalebić, a 52-year-old beauty influencer, told GB News how to achieve this. She teaches her followers on social media how to take care of mature skin and how to make themselves look younger. Here are her main life hacks.
Moisturize the skin
As you age, your skin needs more moisturizing. Therefore, it makes sense to switch from foundation to tinted moisturizer. It will create a less dense coating that will not emphasize wrinkles so much. Problem areas can be covered with concealer. And don't be afraid of translucent powder – it will effectively set your makeup.
Eyes
With age, the upper eyelid begins to sag, so you need to move the dark accent higher – to the eyelid crease. It's also better to avoid clear lines of eyeliner, instead use a thin brush and eyeshadow to create a powdery effect. Finally, always curl your eyelashes to open up your gaze, and don't overuse mascara - apply it sparingly.
Eyebrows
When it comes to eyebrows, Annamarie combines gel with a pencil to create the necessary definition. Use a sharp pencil to draw in the desired hairs, then set the shape with gel to ensure it is defined and lasts all day.
Bronzer and blush
On textured skin, shimmering increases the appearance of wrinkles and pores. That's why it's best to avoid shimmering bronzers as you age. It is also worth shifting the emphasis that you place on the blush – apply the product to the cheekbone and make upward movements. This will lift this area and visually tighten it.
Lips
When using a lip pencil, Annamarie avoids applying the product to the outer corners. This will help focus attention on the center of the mouth, making the lips look fuller. But the pencil itself is a must-have – it will keep lipstick from flowing into the small wrinkles around the mouth.
