After a two-year break and the announcement of the final end of filming of the popular series "Peaky Blinders" about the life of a British criminal group in the early 19th century, director Steven Knight confirmed the continuation of the movie in the format of a film. Cillian Murphy, who won an Oscar for Oppenheimer, will play the lead role of Thomas Shelby, which made fans incredibly happy.

Earlier, the director partially revealed the idea of the upcoming movie, which was referenced in the series. "In the sixth episode [of Season 6], we introduced a new generation, and it will be part of what happens in the movie. I think it's about finding those actors who you just look at and think, 'There you are. That's the future," he said in an interview with Esquire.

We might see Liverpool actor Stephen Graham, Amber Anderson, who played Diana Mitford, and James Freshville as Jack Nelson in the new movie. All of them have already appeared in the series, so they may continue filming in the movie.

Of course, Cillian Murphy will still be the main character. After the 2024 Academy Awards ceremony, the actor admitted: "I loved playing him. He was exhausting and so wildly different for me that every time I went back was like a journey."
