In the 1990s, trolleybuses of various types - not only Ukrainian but also foreign - could be seen on the streets of Kyiv. Among the latter, the most common were public electric vehicles from Škoda and DAC.

Archival photos were published in the community "Spraha": interesting things in Kyiv" on Facebook. All these models have already been decommissioned by Kyivpastrans.

"Trolleybuses of the 90s," the post reads.

The published photos, which were taken in different parts of the capital, show, among other things, trolleybuses of several types made by the Czechoslovakian company Škoda and the Romanian company DAC.

In 1955, Ukrainian documentary photographer Andriy Levchenko took several panoramic photos of Podil and the Dnipro River. Thanks to these works, we can see what this historic area of Kyiv looked like back then.

Today, the Palace "Ukraine" is the largest concert and artistic institution in Kyiv and our country. However, it was built in secret, and in order to obtain the appropriate permit, they submitted documents that it was supposed to be a cinema.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, in the 1960s, the embankment near Poshtova Square and the Dnipro Cliffs in Kyiv looked a little different. And the beaches on Trukhaniv Island were much larger.
