From 2006 to 2021, fans of the famous franchise about the British intelligence secret agent James Bond saw Daniel Craig in the lead role, but in the next film, he is to be replaced by another actor. It was reported that the project's producer, Barbara Broccoli, was considering Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and James Norton. Moreover, there were rumors that the new 007 agent would be played by a woman for the first time in history.

However, as it turned out, the search for the most suitable candidate has not ended, and the list of potential James Bonds has only expanded. The Sun writes about it.

According to insider information, after much deliberation, 32-year-old actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson became the main contender to replace Daniel Craig.

His real breakthrough was the lead role in the biographical film Becoming John Lennon, for which Taylor-Johnson was nominated for Best Actor at the 2009 British Independent Film Awards. His work in the superhero movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron".

Taylor-Johnson also won a Golden Globe Award for his role as Ray Marcus in the movie Under the Cover of Night.

In 2022, the actor appeared in the movie High Speed Train with Brad Pitt, winning the attention of many film critics with his convincing performance.

Probably, it was this work that convinced the Bond producer to invite the 32-year-old actor to play the lead role.
