In 2020, not all of the long-awaited films premiered in theaters. Most of them appeared on streaming services and video platforms. Therefore, film critics have compiled a list of the most popular ones released this year.
The first places are occupied by Christopher Nolan's fantasy action movie Tenet and Sacha Baron Cohen's scandalous black comedy Borat 2, writes Rambler.
The premiere of Tenet took place in cinemas around the world, and the second part of Borat is available on Amazon. The list also includes the musical Hamilton and the cartoon Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe.
In addition, Netflix's The Old Guard with Charlize Theron and the cartoon Mulan made it to the list. And just two weeks after the premiere, the movie The Witches starring Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci gained immense popularity. The Trial of the Chicago 7 completes the ranking.
