The official presentation of the new iPhone 17 line is expected in September 2025. Of course, a lot of insider information has already leaked online, based on which we can draw preliminary conclusions about the new product. It is expected that the design of the iPhone 17 will retain the main features of previous models but with some minor changes in size or body materials.

Contrary to recent reports, the iPhone 17 Pro will not have a horizontal camera. This is reported by MacRumors.

In a new post on Weibo, the author said that although the appearance of the iPhone 17 Pro's back panel has indeed changed, the arrangement of the three cameras is "still triangular." This is not a "horizontal strip" as previously speculated.

The iPhone 11 Pro's "triangular" camera was a noticeable change from previous models, which had a more traditional vertical arrangement. Apple's decision to switch to a new design was primarily driven by the need to accommodate a third Ultra Wide camera, as well as improved sensors and optics.

After the iPhone 11 Pro, the triangular camera arrangement became a kind of aesthetic standard for subsequent models.

Earlier, expert Wayne Ma of The Information said that the back of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a "rectangular camera protrusion made of aluminum, not traditional 3D glass," while the bottom half will consist of glass to support wireless charging.

Currently, there is information that the iPhone 17 Pro models will use Apple's next-generation A19 Pro chip, which is likely to be manufactured using TSMC's new third-generation 3-nm process.

The display is likely to be a high-resolution OLED with support for ProMotion (adaptive refresh rate). It is possible to increase the display size or reduce the bezels.

The camera system is expected to be even more powerful, with improved low-light image quality and new features for video recording. The iPhone 17, according to preliminary data, will be equipped with an updated 24-megapixel front camera, and the rear camera will have 48 megapixels.

The increase in RAM for the iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro will improve the performance of Apple Intelligence and multitasking of the smartphone.
