A unique novelty will enter the car market - the Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster will become the most powerful production car: the model will have a manual six-speed transmission. The 6.6-liter V-8 engine will produce 1817 horsepower.

Only 12 copies of the F5-M Roadster will be produced, but all of them have already been sold at a starting price of $2.6 million. The details were reported by Top Gear.

A six-speed manual transmission was added to the Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster to create the most powerful car on the manual.

Experts say that nothing really changes except the transmission. The engine will produce a staggering 1817 horsepower at 8200 rpm. Unsurprisingly, the gears are stepped, so full power is not reached until fourth gear to keep you out of trouble.

What does change is the trim itself, which adds a new 55-inch new "dorsal fin" stretching from the roof intake to the rear trunk lid.

The interior has also undergone some changes, with a carbon fiber selector fitting snugly into a six-speed gearbox machined from a billet of aluminum.

According to Nathan Malinick, Hennessey's design director, this is a car for bold enthusiasts who like their hypercars to impress with furious power, striking design, and incredible handling.

There is no information on how the new transmission affects the 100 km/h acceleration or top speed, but Hennessey has confirmed that an attempt to break the Venom GT Spyder's own 427 km/h record could happen this winter.

"The F5-M is going to be the most attractive and exciting car we've ever built," said John Hennessey.

It looks like the alloy wheels have also been cleaned up, with some satin finish added, as well as a new fashionable livery that consists of a pair of center lines with contrasting accents running the length of the car.

An obvious change in the cabin is the aluminum billet and carbon fiber gear lever.
