The first in history: Rebrov sets a unique achievement in the Ukrainian national team

Head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Serhii Rebrov has become a record holder for the number of strong-willed victories the team has won under his leadership. The enchanting comeback in the semifinals of the Euro 2024 playoffs with Bosnia and Herzegovina was the third for the Yellow and Blues under the 48-year-old specialist.

Such calculations are provided by the portal Sport.ua. Rebrov is ahead of the legendary Oleh Blokhin and Andrii Shevchenko, who have two similar successes. Interestingly, the current national team coach needed only eight official matches. Before that, the Blue and Yellows won in North Macedonia, losing 0-2, and also managed to score three times against Malta after a forgiven ball in the first minutes of the match.

In total, the Ukrainian national team has 11 strong-willed victories in official matches, and in the last five, our players made a comeback on a foreign field.
