Ukraine's 6th ranked player Lesia Tsurenko (WTA #122) suffered a technical defeat in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament in Mexico against a neutral tennis player with a Russian passport, Anna Blinkova (WTA #75). In the third set, with the score 6:2, 4:6, 0:4, the 35-year-old from Kyiv refused to continue the match.
