There is information that the final and "perfect" version of the finale for Deadpool and Wolverine was offered by actress Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds' wife.

Initially, in the climactic scene, Deadpool and Wolverine destroyed the Timekeeper and immediately showed the audience that the heroes survived.
Eventually, a modified version was shown in theaters, which, at Lovely's suggestion, became more dramatic and added some intrigue. There was no such certainty about the characters' future. In the final scene, Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) justified himself to B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) with a sublime speech about self-sacrifice, and only later do the main characters appear on screen.
Ryan Reynolds told Games Radar that the reshoot process was surprisingly fast.
"The reshoots took only 1.5 days, which we are very proud of. Usually, in movies like this, it takes weeks. But Matthew's speech turned out great," the actor said.
Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy also added that Lovely's idea added to the tension in the finale.
In total, the box office of Deadpool and Wolverine has already crossed the $1.3 billion mark. It is the second highest-grossing film of 2024 and the highest-grossing R-rated movie.
