As OBOZ.UA reminds, the experts of the European Car Of The Year 2025 competition have identified the best cars. The winner was the new Renault 5 E-tech EV. In addition to the COTY 2025 jury, Top Gear experts have previously recognized the model as the best car.

Of course, the budget electric car from France managed to find a balance of several useful qualities. The first is the price of the Renault 5 E-Tech EV. The price starts at 24,000 euros. This is a great offer, a truly budget-friendly car in the electric segment. At the same time, in some countries there is a bonus of 4000 euros and the cost is reduced to 20,000.

The second is the appearance. The retro-styled design of the Renault 5 E-Tech electric model continues the styling of the 2021 concept, which hinted at a production car. The new electric car was made to look like the Renault R5 budget hatchback, which was produced from 1972 to 1996.

The third is the characteristics. The top variant offers 150 hp and 410 km of range. The average modification has 120 hp with a 40 kWh battery pack and a range of 312 km. Later, a cheaper version with a 40 kWh battery pack and a 300 km range with 95 hp will be offered. This will be the cheapest Renault 5 E-Tech.
