The base of the Wagner PMC and the African Corps is on fire in Molkino, Krasnodar. Video
A massive fire broke out in Molkino, Krasnodar Territory, Russia, in the place where the Wagner PMC base used to be located. Currently, the base of the African Corps unit is located there.
The fire was reported by Russian media. The video from the scene was published by the Wagner-affiliated Telegram channel Orchestra Wagner.
Warning: The video contains profanity!
The fire has reportedly engulfed administrative buildings, including the former headquarters building.
"Guys, our second barracks is on fire... The headquarters is on fire, the BC is f**king up, and we don't have a headquarters anymore. Good morning, everyone," the occupiers who filmed the fire commented.
"The Wagner Orchestra did not name the cause of the fire, but another Russian Telegram channel, VCHK-OGPU, said it was preceded by a UAV attack.
According to the Russian media, during the existence of the Wagner PMC, Molkino was home to the headquarters and a "filter" for about ten years.
However, at the end of July 2023, after the mutiny of the company's head Yevgeny Prigozhin (now deceased), the Wagnerians left the place, handing it over to the Russian Defense Ministry, after which Molkino was occupied by the African Corps.
This paramilitary structure of the Russian Federation was created in early 2024 to protect the military of the aggressor country and the economic interests in Africa of Russian oligarch Gennady Timchenko and Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, Russian media reported a UAV attack on military facilities in the Krasnodar Territory on the night of September 21. The explosions were heard at dawn in Tikhoretsk, and a powerful detonation began at a local ammunition depot.
