On the evening of Saturday, June 8, the Telegram messenger experienced a malfunction. At around 21:30, messages stopped being sent and the chat list was not updated.
Hundreds of users complained about this, as confirmed by the Downdetector website. The cause of the outage is currently unknown.

Due to a glitch in Kharkiv, some people were unable to receive messages about the air alert, which was announced in the city and region at 21:40. Later, the alert was also announced in eastern and southern Ukraine, which also came as a surprise to Ukrainians who receive danger notifications on Telegram.
