Supercomputer names three main favorites to win Champions League
Manchester City (England), Real Madrid (Spain) and Inter Milan (Italy) have further strengthened their status as the main favorites to win the Champions League after the first matches of the 1/8 finals. At the same time, the fiasco of Bayern Munich in the match against Lazio Rome literally ruined the Germans' chances of triumph.
The relevant calculations were made by Opta's supercomputer, according to its official website. After updating the forecast for the final winner of the tournament, the probability that Manchester City will defend its title is 33.39%.

The Madrid "royal club" is on the second line with a solid gap. Real Madrid's success is estimated at 17.57%. But Inter's performance jumped sharply - from 11.48 to 16.07%. The gap between the Italians and the French PSG (9.86) has almost tripled.

Arsenal of London rounds out the top five. The supercomputer gives 5.22% that the team of Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko will eventually win the trophy. Bayern's chances have dropped by half - from 10.09% to 4.75%.
