State Emergency Service rescues a woman from under the rubble after the Russian missile attack on Dnipro. Video
On the evening of October 25, the Russian terrorist army launched a series of missile attacks on Dnipro. As a result of the attack, civilians were trapped under the rubble, so State Emergency Service rushed to help.
Rescuers showed the moment when the wounded were unblocked from the destroyed building. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The missile strikes partially destroyed a two-story residential building. Also, apartment buildings and one of the medical institutions were damaged.
Rescuers pulled the bodies of three people from the rubble of the two-story building. Another woman was rescued from the destroyed building and handed over to doctors.
Later, rescuers clarified that they had unblocked a child from the rubble. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, and the Antares dog unit has been engaged too.
A total of 18 people were injured, including 4 children. Psychologists are working at the impact site to provide the necessary assistance to people. More than 60 rescuers and 18 units of equipment of the State Emergency Service are involved.
The Regional Military Administration said that Russian missiles damaged 13 apartment buildings and 2 private houses, as well as 30 vehicles. As of the morning of October 26, utility workers had already removed 80 tons of construction debris.
As a reminder, powerful explosions occurred in Dnipro late in the evening of October 25. It happened during the air raid alert announced in the region. It is known that there are 19 injured and three dead. A woman and a child were rescued from the rubble.
As reported, on October 25, explosions were heard in Kyiv and the region too. In the capital, an enemy drone hit a high-rise building, damaging apartments on three floors and injuring five people. One person was killed.
