  • First quarter - November 9;
  • Full Moon - November 15
  • The last quarter - from November 24.

There are few unfavorable periods in November. Sowing and transplanting crops is not recommended on November 1-2. On November 15-16, you should also avoid gardening and fertilizing the soil.

What you can do in the garden in November

Winter crops should be included in the work plan. These include winter garlic, onions, dill, parsley, spinach, lettuce, and winter vegetables (carrots, beets, radishes).

You can also prune, remove diseased branches on trees, prune grapes, dig up beds, mulch perennials, and take measures to protect against pests.

Don't forget to insulate plants and greenhouses.

Organic, potash, and phosphorus fertilizers should be applied to the soil.

  • November 1-2 - no sowing should be done. You can remove the remains of plants and dig up the beds
  • November 3-5 - you can start sowing winter crops and mulching.
  • November 6-8 - planting green crops will be successful: spinach, lettuce. You can also take care of pruning trees and shrubs, removing diseased and damaged branches.
  • November 9-11 are favorable days for preparing the soil for wintering: loosening, applying organic fertilizers, and sowing onion sets.
  • November 12-14 - potash fertilizers can be applied and shelters for perennials can be arranged.
  • November 15-16 are unfavorable days for gardening.
  • November 17-19 - sowing of winter vegetables: carrots, beets, radishes. It is worth mulching perennials, adding compost or pruning grapes.
  • November 20-22 - phosphorus fertilization and greenhouse insulation will be useful.
  • November 23-25 - mulch perennials and sow winter crops.
  • November 26-28 - take care of warming root systems and preparing seeds for spring sowing
  • November 29-30 - take care of shelter for plants.
