Gardeners and vegetable growers usually consider the full moon not the best time to sow, as plants tend to reduce their activity during this period. However, it is possible to treat for pests and diseases, weeding, or preparing beds.

The last quarter is the waning phase of the moon. It is considered favorable for working with root plants (garlic, onions, root vegetables), as well as for pruning.

• New Moon - sowing seeds, planting plants, caring for root crops;
• The growing moon - sowing, fertilizing, transplanting;
• Full Moon - transplanting, pest control, soil preparation.
• The waning moon - pruning, preparation for wintering, soil cultivation.

February 1-2, 16, 27-28 are unfavorable dates according to the lunar calendar.
