On July 1, the police in Irpin, together with rescuers and utilities, practiced an algorithm of actions in case a missile hits a residential building. During the command and staff training, they practiced first aid in an emergency.

This was reported by an OBOZ.UA correspondent. The main purpose of these exercises was to ensure a high level of readiness of civil defense services to eliminate the consequences of possible emergencies.

During the command and staff exercises, 15 units of special equipment and more than 50 employees of various civil defense services were involved.

During the simulated emergency, explosive devices and smoke signals were used, and firefighters actually dismantled the skeleton of a burnt-out car.

The actors played the role of residents of a high-rise building who were evacuated from the damaged building. Some of them also wore makeup to simulate injuries.

"The main goal is to work out the coordination of actions of the authorities, to prepare and maintain a high level of readiness of the authorities and their subordinate civil protection forces during the elimination of the consequences of emergencies," said Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Merkushyn.

Earlier it was reported that on the night of November 1, Russian war criminals again attacked Ukraine with a Kh-59 missile and 20 attack drones.
