The premiere of the Skoda Kodiaq RS for the 2025 model year has officially taken place. This is a powerful and in every sense cooler version of the popular inexpensive crossover for a large family.

Motor1 shows a photo of the 2nd generation Skoda Kodiaq RS. The car has previously hit the roads for road tests. And now we can see the appearance of the new model in official images.

The sporty crossover differs from the standard car due to a more aggressive bumper design and unique wheels. It is powered by a VW Golf GTI engine with a capacity of 261 hp.

The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission as part of an all-wheel drive system. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds, and the top speed is 232 km/h. There are 5- or 7-seater variants. The interior of the Skoda Kodiaq RS received new trim and sports seats.

The previously standard 2nd-generation Skoda Kodiaq crossover has entered the production line. The model has changed a lot, becoming larger and more brutal in appearance. This is facilitated by the new design of the Skoda Kodiaq, which distances the car from its predecessor.

The car received different powerplants: 1.5-liter (148 hp), 2.0-liter (201 hp) and 2.0-liter diesel engines (148 and 190 hp). Also, a hybrid Skoda Kodiaq with a 201 hp powerplant appeared in the lineup for the first time. This crossover can travel up to 100 km solely on electric power.
