American actress and Sex and the City star Kristin Davis spoke to the world about the problems of Ukrainians by posting a video with a little girl from Mykolaiv. The touching dialog touched the celebrity's fans.
The Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) emphasized that the stories she heard impressed her, as did the inner strength of Ukrainians. The star's visit to Moldova took place back in September, but the footage of the Ukrainian girl, who was forced to leave her family, friends, and school, was only shown now.
"It is a great honor for me to be here in Moldova, to spend time with Ukrainian refugees and locals. They have united as one. The problems faced by refugees forced to leave their homes are unimaginable. I was deeply moved by their amazing strength," said Christine Davis.
She talked to 9-year-old Masha from Mykolaiv, who told the actress that she dreams of returning home and of the end of the war. In her hometown, the Ukrainian girl has grandparents, a favorite playground and a carefree childhood.
In the comments, Christine Davis was thanked for her compassionate heart and coverage of the pressing problems of Ukrainians. The actress' followers also expressed their admiration for the resilience of Ukrainians.
