In Irkutsk, Russia, dozens of cars collided because of an icy puddle after a pipe burst. Video

In the Russian city of Irkutsk, a traffic accident involving 15 cars occurred. The cause was a slippery road that turned into a skating rink due to a burst pipe and frost.

This was reported by Russian media, publishing a video from the scene. It is noted that the drivers simply did not have time to slow down and crashed into the cars in front of them.

One person was injured in the accident, and the cars blocked the road.

Earlier, an accident involving a truck and three Rosgvardia buses occurred on December 2 in the Voronezh region of Russia at the 595th kilometer of the M4 Don highway. One person died and 10 others were injured. At least five of the victims were Rosgvardians.

According to the Russian media, the driver of the truck allegedly failed to take into account the weather conditions, and his dimensions and exceeded the speed limit. According to one version, the man driving the truck may have fallen asleep at the wheel.

On December 9, an emergency also occurred at the Tolmachevo airport in Novosibirsk due to severe frost. A pipe burst there and the entire building was instantly filled with steam. Passengers who witnessed the municipal emergency found themselves in a thick fog.

– On the night of December 11, a Russian passenger plane carrying 19 kg of radioactive substance requested an emergency landing at Vnukovo airport near Moscow. There were 104 passengers and five crew members on board.
