The full name of the settlement is Shanliurfa, but the locals usually use a shortened version. The easiest way to get here is by air from Istanbul or Antalya.

Lake Tortum

This amazing body of water was formed between the mountains 15 thousand years ago. It stretches 8 kilometers in length, making it one of the largest in Europe and Asia. Getting to Tortum is not too difficult. You should first take a flight from Antalya or Istanbul to Erzurum, and from there take a bus or taxi.
