Secret deal: Ukrainian goalkeeper makes a surprising move at Real Madrid
Five years ago, Ukraine's goalkeeper Andrii Lunin extended his contract with Real Madrid, which was not announced to the public. Currently, the 24-year-old native of Krasnodon's agreement with the Spanish giants is valid until the summer of 2025, not until 2024, as stated in the press.
This information was published by the Spanish television program El Chiringuito TV on its X page, formerly known as Twitter. According to journalist Marcos Benito, after his loan to Leganes in the 2018/19 season, Real Madrid offered Lunin a contract extension for another season, to which the Ukrainian agreed.
