The match in the Nezasuela soccer championship between Caracos and Deportivo Tachira ended in a loud scandal. Caracos players purposely failed to score all the penalties, protesting against the referee's actions.
In the 5th round Caracos played a draw with Deportivo (1:1), and in the 9th added minute the referee did not count the goal of Caracas midfielder Everardo Rose.
After reviewing the VAR, the refereeing crew canceled the goal. When the picture is enlarged, it is clearly visible that the blue line is not associated with any player. The red line indicates the positions of the two Tachira representatives.

After the game, the clubs were to take part in a sponsored tournament, the "Brand King's Cup". According to the regulations, the winner was determined exclusively in a penalty shootout. The result did not affect the tournament position in the championship and was treated as a separate competition.
