Russians strike Kharkiv for the second time in a day:there are victims, garages caught on fire and the heating main was damaged

On September 2, the Russian occupiers struck Kharkiv with multiple rocket launchers for the second time in a day, and a series of explosions occurred in the city. In the Kyiv district, two bombs hit garages, a fire broke out, and a university was also hit, injuring 11 people. There was also a hit in Ruska Lozova near Kharkiv, where a private house was damaged, and one person was injured.

As of 15:24, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported explosions in the city. The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that the hit was in the Kyiv district.

The car was damaged, as of 15:45 there was no information about the victims, but ten minutes later the head of the RMA reported five victims.

"At this moment, we know about five victims. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance. There is a fire in the garages. Liquidation of the consequences is ongoing," Syniehubov said as of 15:55.

The mayor of Kharkiv clarified that garages are burning at the site of one of the arrivals, windows are broken in the surrounding houses, and a heating main is damaged.

"All relevant services are working at the scene. The places where the enemy's UAVs hit are being examined," Terekhov wrote on his official Telegram channel.

Later, the head of the RMA said that, according to preliminary data, two UAVs hit a garage cooperative near residential buildings in the Kyiv district. A fire broke out there, with no casualties.

Another hit was recorded on the territory of a university. Five people were injured, the inspection is ongoing, he said.

A sports infrastructure facility was damaged, Terekhov said.

As of 4:33 p.m., Syniehubov reported seven victims.

"A 60-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man are in serious condition. Five more women are in moderate condition," he wrote.

There was also information about the damage to a private house in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, fortunately, without casualties, Terekhov said.

At 17:16, the head of the RMA informed that the number of victims had increased to 11.

In addition, at 15:41 Syniehubov reported shelling of the village of Ruska Lozova.

"A private household was damaged. According to preliminary data, there is one victim. The information is being updated," wrote the head of the Kharkiv region.

The wounded man is an elderly man born in 1956. His condition is stable, and doctors are providing the necessary assistance, said Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of Derhachiv RMA.

According to him, at about 15:40, Russians also attacked the village of Bezruky. The attack hit an open area, and there is no information on casualties or damage.
