Russians attacked Odesa with Shaheds: they hit a residential building, a woman was killed and wounded. Photos and videos
On the evening of Thursday, November 14, Russian occupation forces massively attacked Odesa with Shaheds. The occupiers hit a residential building, killing a woman. In addition, the main heating pipeline was damaged as a result of the shelling.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, one of the boiler houses was forced to stop working because of the attack. Civilian infrastructure was damaged in the city, and eight more people were injured.
"Residential buildings, a church, and cars were damaged. Fires broke out in some locations. The main heat supply pipeline was also damaged. One of Odesa's boiler houses was forced to shut down," said the head of the UIA.
"Another terrorist attack by Russians in Odesa. A strike on a residential building. Putin just likes to fight civilians. He has no respect for anyone, he is a common, sick terrorist," commented the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak.
Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov noted that operational services and a detachment of volunteers from the Department of Municipal Security are working on the ground.
"Heat suppliers are already working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. We are looking into the need for resettlement. In the morning, we will start cleaning the city and helping residents of damaged buildings, the headquarters will collect documents for providing material assistance," he wrote on Telegram.
A series of powerful explosions began to rumble in the city around 21:30. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a high-speed target in the direction of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa region, as well as Chornomorsk and Odesa. The occupiers also sent several groups of Shahed-type attack UAVs to the region.
Oleh Kiper wrote that air defense is operating in the region.
"The enemy is attacking Odesa and the region with attack drones. Our air defense forces are working. Stay in shelters!" the statement reads.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of November 14, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with attack drones, using a total of 59 attack weapons. The defense forces shot down 21 targets over four regions, and dozens more were neutralized without explosions.
