Russia hit a dormitory with Shaheds in Sumy region: 12 people killed, many wounded. Photos and video

On the evening of Monday, November 18, Russian occupation forces attacked Hlukhiv in Sumy region with Shaheds, and explosions occurred in the city. Putin's terrorists hit a high-rise building with drones.

As a result of the attack, 12 people were killed and at least 13 others were injured; as of November 19, 16:00, rescue and search operations at the site of the attack were completed. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration and the State Emergency Service.

The Regional Military Administration clarified that as of 7:00 am, one of the dead was a child. It is also known that two of the 12 wounded are minors.

As of 15:53 on November 19, emergency and rescue operations at the site of the destroyed dormitory were completed.

"The works at the site of the enemy attack in Hlukhiv are completed. 12 people were killed, including a child. In total, 52 rescuers and 11 pieces of equipment were working at the scene," the State Emergency Service reported.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the dead include a woman and her two sons.

"Search and rescue operations have been completed at the site of an enemy strike on a dormitory in the city of Hlukhiv in Sumy region. 12 people were killed, including a 7-year-old boy, his mother, and 20-year-old brother. Our condolences to the families of the victims," they said.

The Telegram channel "Hlukhiv.City" reported that two powerful explosions occurred in the city at about 23:20.

"Russians attacked Hlukhiv. At about 23:20, two powerful explosions were heard in Hlukhiv. A multi-storey building was hit, Glukhov.City correspondents report from the scene," the statement said.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to another Russian terrorist attack against Ukrainian civilians. The Head of State emphasized that the strike on the dormitory in Hlukhiv only confirms the true intentions of dictator Vladimir Putin.

"Every day, we call on the world to be resolute and strong enough for Ukraine to block these attacks on our people. Each new Russian strike only confirms Putin's true intentions. He wants the war to continue. He is not interested in talking about peace. We must force Russia to a just peace by force," the President of Ukraine said.

After 1 p.m., the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified that the number of civilians killed by Russians had increased to 12. The agency noted that a dormitory building was partially destroyed, and 5 people are likely to be trapped under the rubble. Rescuers are continuing rescue operations.

After 3 p.m., the State Emergency Service reported that rescue operations at the site of the enemy attack in Hlukhiv were completed. The attack killed 12 people, including a child. A total of 52 rescuers and 11 pieces of equipment were working at the scene.

– Russians hit a high-rise building in Sumy with ballistic missiles in the evening of November 17. The residential building was heavily damaged, killing 11 people, including a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl.

– On the afternoon of November 18, the occupiers attacked the civilian infrastructure of Odesa with ballistic missiles. Residential buildings were damaged in the city, and ten people were killed, including doctors, police officers, and civilians. Another 43 people were injured.

– On the night of November 17, Russia launched a massive combined attack on all regions of Ukraine. The enemy launched about 120 missiles and 90 drones at Ukrainian cities and villages. Air defense forces destroyed more than 140 enemy air attack vehicles, the invaders primarily targeted the energy sector, and there were casualties.
