Rules for buying train tickets have been updated: what has been changed by Ukrzaliznytsia

Ukrainians are now allowed to buy train tickets for other people and give them bonuses for doing so. To do this, you need to create a profile of the passenger for whom you are buying a ticket in the Ukrzaliznytsia app and specify his or her name, surname, patronymic, and the phone number to which his or her account is registered.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia itself. They noted:

• The purchased ticket will automatically appear on the account of such a passenger.
• "Hugs" (bonuses) for the trip will be credited to them.

At the same time, the carrier emphasized that it is important to check whether the entered data matches the information in the account of the passenger for whom the ticket is purchased. After all, the system "automatically checks their compliance."

"Sharing tickets between accounts. Create a profile of the passenger for whom you are purchasing a ticket. The ticket will appear in the passenger's account," the message says.

Trains will run on changed routes

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia has rewritten the schedule of a number of trains - now they will be on the road much less. For example:

• Train #51/52 Zaporizhzhia - Odesa.

Departure from Zaporizhzhia is at 16:00. Arrival in Odesa - 05:25 instead of 07:29. The acceleration will be 2 hours and 4 minutes.

Departure from Odesa - 23.18 instead of 21.19. Arrival in Zaporizhzhia - 13.30. Acceleration will be 1 hour 59 minutes.

• Train #53/54 Dnipro - Odesa.

Departure from Dnipro: 18:07. Arrival in Odesa - 05:25 instead of 07:29. Acceleration - 2 hours 4 minutes.

Departure from Odesa - 23.18 instead of 21.19. Arrival in Dnipro - 11:11 instead of 11:19. Acceleration time: 1 hour 59 minutes.

• Train 253/254 Kryvyi Rih - Odesa.

Departure from Kryvyi Rih: 18:03. Arrival in Odesa - 05:25 instead of 07:29. Acceleration - 2 hours and 4 minutes.

Departure from Odesa - 23.18 instead of 21.19. Arrival in Kryvyi Rih - 11:44. Acceleration time - 1 hour 59 minutes.

• Train 148/147 Kyiv - Odesa.

The speed in the direction of Odesa has been accelerated by 2 hours and 2 minutes. In the direction of Kyiv - by 2 hours 26 minutes.

Departure from Kyiv is at 17:25. Arrival in Odesa - 6:15 (previously 08:17).

Departure from Odesa - 19:50 instead of 17:24. Arrival in Kyiv - 09.02.

• Train #7/8 Kharkiv - Odesa.

Acceleration by 3:00 12 minutes in the direction of Odesa. And 3 hours 13 minutes in the direction of Kharkiv.

Departure from Kharkiv - 20:20 (previously - 17:55). Arrival in Odesa - 07:12 (previously - 07:59).

Departure from Odesa - 22:29 (previously 19:52). Arrival in Kharkiv: 09:21 (previously 09:57).

The changes are due to the completion of the repair of the railway infrastructure. They will come into force on January 27.

"We are completing the repair of the railway infrastructure and starting from January 27, we are speeding up a number of trains in the Odesa direction by 2-3 hours. We are also scheduling stops in Mykolaiv region," Ukrzaliznytsia said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Ukrzaliznytsia also launched a new train in a popular tourist destination - between Kyiv and Solotvyno (Zakarpattia region). It will make its first trip on February 6.
