Renault's new 2025 Dacia Bigster budget crossover was fully disclosed during the official premiere. The "big" name of the model reflects not only the dimensions of the body and interior space but also the engine size.
This inexpensive car will be a cheap rival to the Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5. Motor1 has learned that a completely new engine has been developed specifically for the large crossover - the largest in the history of Dacia.
In the top version, the Dacia Bigster hybrid is equipped with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with 107 hp. When working together with two electric motors, the total output of the power plant is 155 hp. In addition, the new Dacia Bigster Hybrid 155 crossover received a regenerative braking system.
Renault has developed a new engine just for the Dacia Bigster.

The Bigster crossover reaches a length of 4.57 meters. It is about 30 cm longer than the Renault Duster 3 (on which it is based). All in order to offer seven seats. However, this modification will appear later - the cabin is still five-seater.
The price of the Dacia Bigster is just under 25,000 euros for the base version. The hybrid will cost 30,000 euros. An excellent offer, given the practicality and size of the new model. However, this is the most expensive Dacia model in history.

- 1.2 liter turbo gasoline (140 hp);
- 1.8 liter gasoline (hybrid, 155 hp).
