Apple has revealed the new Watch 10 and AirPods
On Monday, September 9, the American corporation Apple unveiled not only the latest iPhone 16, but also showed the new Apple Watch smartwatch and AirPods headphones.
Apple Watch Series 10 will be characterized by faster charging, and AirPods 4 will have a new case with a larger battery. OBOZ.UA watched the broadcast, which told about the novelties, and collected the basic information.
Apple Watch
From the most important - the new watch will have large screens - more than in the Ultra 2 and 40% more screens Series 9. The screen covers the protective glass IonX, it is also 40% brighter. The company is calling this display Wide angle OLED.
In addition, the new Apple Watch will be faster to charge. For example, it will take only 30 minutes to charge to 80%.
It is noted that this is the "thinnest Apple Watch ever", this has been achieved by miniaturizing the speaker and navigation wheel. It should also be noted that the Apple Watch Series 10 has received updated cases with polished aluminum.
The watch is powered by Apple's Silicon S10 processor with faster neural network processing to detect gestures, falls, or cut out background noise in voice input.
There's also important information for athletes - the new watch will be able to detect dive depth and water temperatures. This, along with water protection up to 50 meters, makes them suitable for use by divers.
Apple Watch Ultra with the update of watchOS 11 will get support for offline maps.
AirPods
According to Tim Cook, Apple CEO, the new AirPods are "magically easy to use."
The headphones have a new body shape, which the company calls more anatomical and more comfortable to use. Inside the earbuds is a new H2 chip. It allows you to use gestures in the AirPods 4 to accept or reject calls, accept - nod your head, reject - shake it.
AirPods 4 will have a new case with a bigger battery and an active noise canceling system. They also promise more bass and clearer sound.
In addition, the new AirPods 4 get features that were previously only in the Pro version. These are transparency mode, adaptive audio and conversation mode, when the headphones automatically reduce the noise reduction level when they "hear" the voice of the interlocutor.
The new AirPods Pro will have a hearing test built into the new AirPods, it will be a 5-minute test that can be taken with an iPhone. The AirPods Pro 2 will also reportedly get an update that will help prevent hearing damage.
An update to the AirPods Max was also shown - the design hasn't changed, but USB-C and new colors have been added.
