One of the leaders of the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Zinchenko, has decided to leave London's Arsenal, where he has finally lost his place in the starting lineup. The 28-year-old footballer is ready to change teams in the near future.
Such data was published by the popular portal CaughtOffside. The publication's journalists note that Zinchenko "recognized the futility of further attempts to get into the squad on a more regular basis and is ready to listen to the proposals he received" regarding the transfer to other teams.
Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid showed the greatest interest in the services of the Ukrainian, who can play both on the left flank of defense and in the center of midfield. At the same time, the Spaniards are confident that they will be able to sign Oleksandr on more favorable terms in the summer.
Our compatriot's contract with Arsenal runs until June 30, 2026. The Londoners would like to receive at least 20 million euros for the player.
This season, Oleksandr took part in 13 matches, playing a total of 408 minutes. Our compatriot has not played a single full match. Moreover, in the Premier League, Zinchenko spent only four minutes on the field over the past month.
