1. Villajoyosa, Spain

This small city on the Mediterranean coast has a comfortable microclimate and pleasant air temperature throughout the year. It is special for its colorful houses.

2. Ares del Maestrat, Spain

Halfway between Barcelona and Valencia, there is another gem: Ares del Maestrat. Due to the fact that the city is located on a rocky hill, it offers incredible scenery. In particular, you can visit the Mola Castle and the watchtower.

3. Primošten, Croatia

It is located just half an hour by car from Šibenik Airport. The city is famous for its sunny beach vacations, such as the longest beach Mala Raduča with lots of bars, restaurants and various water activities.

4. Bokod, Hungary

The village on Lake Bokod is located just an hour's drive from Budapest. It is a calm and hospitable place that is definitely worth a visit. However, you should be careful as many of the houses are privately owned.

5. Naantali, Finland

This city is ideal for Moomin fans as it is home to Muumimaailma, a theme park based on the works of Tove Jansson.

6. Bour, Faroe Islands

Bour has only 75 inhabitants, so this village is the best option for complete seclusion. It has unique views of the sea and the impressive Thindholmur, an incredibly majestic rock.

7. Blavand, Denmark

Blavand was one of the most protected places in the whole of Denmark during World War II. Because of this, it has bunkers that overlook the beaches. Nowadays, local authorities have tried to fit it into modern landscapes by decorating it with statues of horses.

8. Ulm, Germany

9. Aljezur, Portugal
