Qatar Airlines has been pushed aside: the world's best airline has been named

According to the Express, Korean Air won the leading position in the Airline of the Year 2025 rating of the World's Best Airlines Awards 2025. This is due to its high standards of comfort in economy class and the increased legroom offered to passengers on the carrier's aircraft.
The experts of the award, which is conducted by AirlineRatings.com, make a thorough assessment based on a whole list of criteria. The goal is to help travelers identify the best airlines in terms of service quality, flight costs, and safety. This year, special attention was paid to economy class cabins, as most passengers travel in them.

The rating compilers noted that many airlines have added a tenth row of seats in Boeing 777 aircraft and reduced the distance between the rows to 78-81 cm, although it used to be 81-83 cm. Korean Air decided not to follow this trend. They kept the original seat configuration and a more comfortable step between the rows for passengers.
In addition, Korean Air offers the widest economy class seats of any airline in the world. The carrier has also earned its position thanks to thoughtful solutions with larger meal portions and good in-flight entertainment that enhance passengers' experience of using the company's services.
