PrivatBank changes one of its tariffs: how much you have to pay now
The state-owned PrivatBank has halved the tariffs for international transfers from its currency cards - to 1%. However, the change is temporary - only until February 15.
This was reported by the bank itself, noting that despite the tariff reduction, the minimum fee for international transfers in Privat24 from currency cards to foreign cards is UAH 50.
"You can transfer funds from a PrivatBank currency card to a card of any bank in the world that supports P2P technology for only 1% (minimum UAH 50) instead of 2% (minimum UAH 50). This will make your transfers even more profitable and affordable," the statement said.
How to transfer money from a PrivatBank card to a foreign card at a reduced rate
You can transfer money from a PrivatBank card to a foreign card in the "Transfer to card" menu through the mobile application or the web version of Privat24. To do this, you need to:
- choose from a template or fill in the details of a foreign card
- specify the amount of the transfer
- confirm the operation
"You can send a foreign transfer only from a PrivatBank currency card in US dollars or euros. You can always open a digital currency card remotely in Privat24 and buy currency online instantly in the mobile bank," the bank said.
PrivatBank has updated currency exchange rules
At the same time, PrivatBank has launched an automatic currency exchange service - ATM-Recycler. It allows you to exchange currency - in particular dollars - for cash without additional fees. They noted that after the exchange, the device will issue hryvnias without crediting the card.
"The PrivatBank cash rate is used. And the remaining sum (up to UAH 100) will be credited to your card or mobile account," the statement said.
However, PrivatBank noted that only a clearly limited amount can be exchanged per transaction. These are:
- up to 1,000 dollars
- up to 1,000 euros
You can find currency exchange devices here. After clicking on it, you should select "ATMs" - "Acceptance of cash in a bundle".
As previously reported, Ukrainians can hand over the currency they have just received (for example, dollars) and get their money back - that is, to make a so-called reverse exchange. However, the time for such an exchange is strictly limited - it can be made only within 15 minutes after the transaction.
