Police detain star of Israeli films and shows for supporting Hamas: what is known
Famous Israeli actress of Arab descent Maysa Abd Elhadi supported the Palestinian militants Hamas after their terrorist attack on Israel. The country's police have already detained the celebrity "on suspicion of glorifying terror and hatred."
This was reported by The Times of Israel. The star of the films Tel Aviv on Fire, World War Z, and others published posts in support of terrorists on her social media, including an 85-year-old Israeli hostage of Hamas, Yaffa Adar, leaving scathing comments.
For example, under the footage of a pensioner who was taken prisoner by the militants, the actress left laughing emoticons and text in Arabic.
In addition, she posted a video of militants attempting to topple the security wall separating Israel from the Gaza Strip. "Let's do it Berlin-style," Maysa Abd Elhadi captioned the video, alluding to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Maysa's fans and her followers, who number more than 31,000, are outraged by the position of the star of Israeli film and television projects. The actress's colleagues are also shocked. One of them wrote on social media: "She is a disgrace! A hypocritical piece of shit who supports terrorism! I am ashamed that she lives in my city." Another left the following comment: "I'm ashamed of you. You should be ashamed of yourself. You live in Nazareth, you act and star in our TV shows and movies, and then you stab us in the back." And the actress, who has about 430 thousand followers, said: "She could never stand us. Satan."
The source also noted: "The police's fight against incitement and support of terrorism is ongoing."
As a reminder, anti-Semitism activists have accused the famous American singer, pianist, and songwriter Alicia Keys of "a morbid ode to Hamas's terrorist attacks on Israel."
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, American porn actress and webcam model of Lebanese descent Mia Khalifa openly expressed her support for Hamas terrorists fighting in Israel. Moreover, a repost comparing Ukraine to Palestine appeared on her page. Read more in our article.
