It's not always possible to plan a trip abroad, but is it a problem? Ukraine's paradise corners are ready to welcome guests. Read below to find out which destination to choose this time.

Ivaniv

It is located near the village of the same name. Various types of building materials are still extracted here, including natural stone for decorative purposes. A few years ago, the industrial facility was put on hold, but later resumed operations.

Today the quarry is not completely full. Every year, the water rises more and more, but it has not yet reached the scale of a lake. By the way, there is a narrow, gentle entrance on one side. Still, it's better not to swim here for now. The location hasn't been explored yet, and there's a lot of machinery working nearby, so it's unlikely that you'll be able to relax. However, you can take photos as a souvenir. There is even an observation deck for this purpose.

You can get here on an asphalt road. We recommend leaving your car on the side of the road and then walking.

By the way, there is a pond where you can go fishing just 650 meters away. We also recommend visiting the local Baroque Ivaniv Castle-Palace. It used to serve as a defense structure on the Southern Buh River.

Kaolin

The quarry is located near the village of Hlukhivtsi and is one of the largest in Europe. Kaolin, a white rock, is mined here. Interestingly, China has a province with the same name. It was in China that this natural material was first discovered in the world. Nowadays, it is used for the manufacture of paper products, electrical engineering, textiles, perfumes, etc.

Not far from the location, a factory has been operating since 1905, producing more than 240 thousand tons of raw materials per year. There is also a rotary excavator next to the pond. It used to work hard, but now it is "resting". It has been "retrained" into a museum exhibit.

The water here is a pale blue color. The only thing that spoils the view is the machinery that buzzes incessantly. If you want to enjoy the landscape without the "symphony orchestra," it is better to come here on weekends.

Hubnyk

It is located in the Haisyn district in the village of Hubnyk. The history of the reservoir is no different from the others. Once upon a time, granite was mined here, and now tourists from all over Ukraine come here to relax.

The Hubnyk quarry is often called the 'Ukrainian Baikal' as you can see rocks and fish even at a depth of 20 meters. By the way, unlike previous locations, you can swim, camp, fish, and dive here.

The residents of the settlement care about nature, so the area has become an oasis for travelers. There is also a manor house in the village where you can rent a room. The price includes breakfast.

Mohylivka

Located in the village of of the same, just 30 kilometers from Vinnytsia. A recreation area with a beach has been created on the territory of the natural attraction. There is a parking lot, toilets, showers, a shopping area, and trash bins. You can enter the territory for free. However, keep in mind that if you are traveling by car, you will have to pay for the entrance. There are stairs covered with small stones leading to the reservoir. The entrance to the water is gentle, accessible even for children. You can go SUP-boarding here. Renting a board for one hour will cost 200 hryvnias.

The Holube Ozero (Blue Lake) glamping site is located very close by. Here you can book tents with all the amenities: a double bed, a refrigerator, heated sheets, lamps, a fan, dishes, bedding, and a terrace with its own chairs and table.

Polyove

It is located near the village of the same name. The water is clear, with emerald hues. Few people know about this location, so there are no crowds of tourists here.

Families with children often come here. The shore is not equipped, trees grow around, but there are places with a gentle entrance to the water. Keep in mind that rocky terrain prevails here, so be careful.

Cherepashyntsi

It is located in the Kalynivka district of the village of the same name. Granite and clay used to be mined here. After the work stopped, the gorge was gradually flooded by underground springs.

Today it is a real paradise, also called the Vinnytsia Maldives. And people are right. The area is atypical for Ukraine. The blue pond resembles a lagoon in a distant warm land. Nearby are coniferous trees that sometimes look like they are growing right out of the water.

The shores of the lake are rocky and steep. But there is a gentle beach where you can sunbathe and swim. Due to the fact that the location has gained a lot of publicity, there are a lot of vacationers here. Therefore, it is worth coming here in the morning to choose a comfortable location.

There are gazebos, a campsite, and a cafe around the area, as well as several grocery stores in the village. There is also a central pond next to the park. You can safely go fishing here.

Be sure to visit the Wine House Gigineishvili. It is located in the neighboring village of Zahrebelna, just 7 kilometers from the location. It was founded by a Georgian who has been living in Ukraine for over 60 years. It produces about 30 thousand liters of the alcoholic beverage annually. Of course, you can taste and buy the wine.

Also, be sure to visit the protected tract of Vilkhove. Black alder trees, which are over 100 years old, grow here.
