Pickled beets: how to make a delicious winter appetizer
Appetizers are an essential part of any festive table. They can be made from almost any product, impressing guests not only with their taste but also with their appearance.
And while Korean-style carrots are no longer a surprise, beets cooked in the same style can become a real gem of a table. Food blogger Tania Akopian shared how to make pickled beets on Instagram.
Ingredients
- Beetroot – 500 gr
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Coriander – ½ tsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Vinegar 9% – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 60 ml
The way of preparation
1. Cut the beets on a Korean-style carrot grater.
2. Add all the spices and oil. Mix thoroughly until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Put the beets in jars and refrigerate for several hours.
