Paralympics 2024: medal standings
The XVII Paralympic Summer Games 2024 will start in the French capital Paris on Wednesday, August 28. The competition will last until September 8. Athletes from 170 countries will play 549 medals in 22 sports.
Ukraine will be represented at the tournament by 140 athletes in all disciplines. The largest number of our compatriots will perform in swimming (37 people) and athletics (28).

It should be noted that the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has allowed 90 Russians to participate in the Games in the so-called neutral status. They are prohibited from participating in the opening and closing ceremonies, mentioning the name of the aggressor country and using national colors.

At the past Paralympics-2024 in Tokyo, the Ukrainian national team entered the top 5 medal standings in terms of the number of awards - our compatriots won 98 medals (24 gold, 47 silver and 37 bronze). Ukrainians took the sixth place by their merit.
