Tourists do not visit this destination so often, so you can soak up the sun on the beach here in a rather secluded place. This is the island of Homer, which is part of the Canary Islands and belongs to Spain.

It's not as well known as Tenerife, but it stands out for its tranquil volcanic landscapes, lush forests, and mild climate all year round. This island is one of the top 15 island destinations for Europeans to go to in winter.

The Corn Islands are at the top of the list. They are a territory of Nicaragua and lie in the Caribbean Sea.
