A French astrophotographer took an incredible photo of Venus and the Moon which seem to dance over the Eiffel Tower. Starting in mid-January 2025, a parade of planets will be visible above the Earth.
Photographer Gwenaël Blanck took a fantastic close-up shot from the bank of the Seine River. In the beam of blue light that "shoots" into the sky from the top of the Eiffel Tower, Venus and the Moon are clearly visible, but a little lower on the right you can see another bright speck – this is Saturn, LiveScience writes.

Vivid photos
"I managed to immortalize this scene with the Iron Lady from the Alexander III Bridge. And I was not the only one who admired this sight. It's nice to see so many people looking at this magnificent crescent moon and brilliant Venus. But most people probably didn't notice Saturn," the French astrophotographer wrote under the photos posted on Instagram.
Saturn is indeed harder to see because of light pollution, experts say.
The city's lighting makes it difficult to see Saturn clearly, but the Moon and Venus are clearly visible.

"This is one of the rare celestial phenomena that makes people look up even under a light-polluted sky," added Gwenaël Blanck.
A planetary parade
According to astrologers, we are now in the midst of one of the most spectacular planetary alignment events in recent years. Given clear skies and a convenient location, five planets – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn – will be visible in the sky from mid-January. However, the planetary parade will reach its peak from late February to early March, when all seven planets will be aligned in an almost straight line along the horizon, experts emphasize.
According to scientists, the next time the parade of planets will take place is in October 2028.
