Papa Music suspected of using dipfake: Wellboy video sparked heated discussions
Ukrainian singer Wellboy (real name: Anton Velboy) broke off relations with Papa Music, but suddenly appeared on his social media accounts, to which he has no access. Fans suspected that the artist's face was simply "imposed" on another person.
They expressed their assumptions in the comments to the viral video on TikTok. In the video the performer is allegedly dancing to the track "Pustotsvit" (to see photos and video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Users of the network noticed that Anton Velboy did not look like himself. The subscribers found it strange that the color of his neck and face are different, and his head does not move synchronously. You can also see that the boundaries between the face and hair are a bit blurred.

"I think it's a dipfake. The face is floating", "It's not him. They just substituted his face," "People are already making videos that it's not Anton," "Is this even legal? This is not him," Ukrainians wrote.

Neither Papa Music nor Anton Velboy have commented on the incident so far.
As a reminder, in April 2023, Wellboy broke off relations with Papa Music, which produced him. The reason for this was the scandal with Putinist Yuri Bardash. His mentors threatened the 22-year-old singer with a lawsuit for failing to fulfill the terms of the contract, and he claimed that the label's producers were collaborating with Russia.
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL wrote that Anton Velboy translated his famous hit " Geese" into Polish to thank our neighbors for their support. The singer's fans supported this initiative.
