The new 2025 Opel Frontera budget crossover has been officially declassified with all the details. In fact, this is a more practical rival to the Dacia Duster budget crossover, which is comparable in size and price to its main competitor.

The full premiere of the long-awaited model took place. The technical details and price of the 3rd generation Opel Frontera have been revealed. All the information was revealed by L'Argus.

The German car is based on Citroen's cheapest crossover and mostly uses its design, except for some elements. The new Frontera is built on the CMP modular platform. This also makes the new car similar to the Citroen C3, Peugeot 2008, Jeep Avenger and Fiat 600.

This is Opel's most affordable crossover and it has been given a name that hasn't been mentioned for 20 years. The Frontera replaced the Opel Crossland compact crossover, but with a 4.4-meter body, it is slightly larger. The car is very similar to the new Citroen C3 Aircross and actually has the same body. The only differences are the bumpers, lighting design and wheel rims.

The new model was designed in line with modern trends, which are followed by almost all new SUVs in the world. The silhouette of the model is square, with straight, simple shapes everywhere. The interior is designed for 5 and 7 people.

The inexpensive car will have an electric version with a price starting at 29,000 euros. It will offer a range of 300 and 400 km and an engine with a capacity of 156 hp. There will be two hybrid modifications: 100 and 136 hp. The price of Opel Frontera hybrid starts from 23,900 euros.
