Only 10 days to buy tickets for these trains: Ukrzaliznytsia announces the flights
Traditionally, ticket sales for long-distance trains in Ukraine start 20 days before the departure date. However, for some flights, ticket sales start only 10 days before departure. The reason is the circumstances caused by the war.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia. They explained that due to Russia's full-scale invasion, "railroaders are forced to make operational decisions about the possibility of movement."
"For certain destinations, tickets go on sale 10 days before the date of departure," the statement said. In particular, we are talking about the following trains:
- No. 110/109 Lviv – Kherson,
- No. 122/121 Kyiv – Mykolaiv, Kherson,
- No. 102/101 Kherson – Kramatorsk,
- No. 104/103 Lviv – Kramatorsk,
- 192/191 Odesa – Kramatorsk,
- No. 712/711 Kyiv – Kramatorsk,
- No. 234/233 Dnipro – Pavlohrad.
In addition, it is noted that the 10-day sales period also applies to some groups of non-stop cars. In particular, #086-234/233-085, #080-234/233-079 Lviv – Pavlohrad, Kyiv – Pavlohrad.
This rule also applies to regional trains of the 800th numbering. In addition, the regional express train № 7/701 Lviv – Chernivtsi.

"Ukrzaliznytsia" has changed the route of the Kyiv–Odesa train
At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia is changing the route of train No. 148/147, which runs along the popular Odesa–Kyiv resort route. The reason is repair work on the railroad within Cherkasy region. Once the work begins, the train will bypass Cherkasy, Zolotonosha, Hrebinka, and Boryspil. The changes will be effective
- for trains departing from Odesa – from October 22 to December 3;
- for flights departing from Kyiv – from October 23 to December 4.
"Completion of repairs and return to previous schedules and routes is expected on December 5 from Odesa. And from December 6 – from Kyiv," the carrier said.
