The Prince of Denmark celebrated his 18th birthday
On the occasion of the 18th birthday of the future King of Denmark, Prince Christian, his portraits with and without his parents were released. Currently, the young man is second in line to the throne, second only to his father, Crown Prince Frederik.
Despite his young age, he already knows how to behave in public, communicate with other European royal families, and is rumored to have introduced his grandmother, the Queen, to a girl. New portraits have appeared on the royal family's Instagram. In the photo, the 18-year-old poses with his parents and younger relatives in festive outfits.
The prince celebrated his birthday with a gala reception for friends from other royal families. Their parents were also invited. Hundreds of people gathered at the Christianshavn Palace in Copenhagen. It is believed to be the most anticipated celebration of the year.
Princess Elisabeth, 21, of Belgium, Ingrid Alexandra, 19, of Norway, with her parents, Estelle, 11, of Sweden, with her family, Princess Katharina-Amalia, Princess of the Netherlands, and others were present.
The event had an official dress code. Guests were asked to wear ball gowns, uniforms, suits, ties, and not to neglect royal attributes. For example, they were encouraged to complement the look with a tiara.
At the age of 18, Christian not only proudly bears the title of the future king, but also arranges his personal life. The media claim that the prince is romantically involved with Sicilian Princess Maria Chiara de Bourbon, Duchess of Capri. However, the "lovers" have not confirmed these rumors.
Suspicion arose when Christian introduced his girlfriend to his grandmother, the Queen. Some people thought that this gesture could be interpreted as a request for the royal blessing. By the way, the ruler also joined the festive ball, which was held in a warm atmosphere.
